Sweet Basil's Catering

I knew before I was even engaged (probably before I'd even met my fiance) that I wanted Sweet Basil's to cater my wedding. Turned out to be a good call. Renee was so sweet, accommodating, and PATIENT during the year-long wedding planning process. Our menu morphed and changed a LOT (due to our own indecisiveness) and she was so great about rolling with the punches, offering her experienced advice, and keeping our vision in mind. I have had so many people ask me for the name of our caterer and tell me how fantastic our food was (and not just by wedding-food standards). I'd always thought that a caterer just shows up with their team, food, and whatever else they'll need. But not only was the presentation of the food itself lovely, Renee was also very interested in what kind of feel/theme we were going for, and decorated the buffet tables accordingly. (The local ingredient aspect was a huge plus too.) I would highly recommend Sweet Basil's Catering and if I ever find myself putting together another catered event, I will absolutely be using them again.

Renee@ Sweet Basil's catered our oldest daughter's wedding reception in May, 2010 and when our youngest daughter became engaged, their was no doubt that we would ask them to cater her reception as well. In fact she was the first vendor we contacted! At both weddings everyone raved about the food! In fact, the #1 comment we heard at both was how beautiful the bride was and the #2 comment was how incredible the food was! In addition to providing excellent food, Renee is wonderful and fun to work with. She is very creative, with lots of ideas and guides you through every step of the planning process. The set up and display of the food is a work of art, too! Since my daughters got married 1 1/2 years apart, I spent a lot of time with Renee and I can say without hesitation, "I wholeheartedly recommend Sweet Basil's catering to anyone planning a wedding!"

People will always remember the food at your wedding. You'll be doing yourself a long-term injustice by not hiring Sweet Basil's. If you haven't met Renee yet, you're missing it out. She'll take the vision you have for your wedding and help you build it. We couldn't have asked for a better caterer.

AMAZING food and EXCELLENT service!! We had so many people tell us how much they enjoyed the food. Renee was so helpful and offers good ideas which I was happy to take since she has such great experience with weddings and catering. Their food is local and FRESH and supports sustainable farming. You can't go wrong by choosing them!! You will be VERY pleased!!!

They were flexible with a time change which was very appreciated. Service and food were great.
