The experience started out positive however declined in a hurry. I was quoted onecost for repair to my wedding ring and agreed to leave it. I was then called with a "after closer look" and the cost almost doubled. After explanation I decided to go ahead with the repairs, at which point a week later I get a call they could not find myslip, had not started repairs and now a 3rd cost which is triple the original estimate. It has now been almost a month and I still do not have my ring back. Extremely dissappointing service as a new customer in addition to an embarrassment to our friends who referred us to Schiffmans. There are many fine jewelers in the Triad, I would not recommend this one following this experience.

I loved the "Hearts on Fire" Diamond. While it was pretty expensive, I still think it was worth it. They say it is the world's most perfectly cut diamond. The lady we worked with, I can't remember her name, was so kind. She let us look at the diamond under the microscope and answered all of my fiance's questions. She even sent us a card after we looked at rings. She was very kind. The only thing I didn't like was that they weren't open that late, but I have found that is normal for the higher end jewelery stores.

We received hand-me-downs for my engagement and my husbands wedding rings, but for my wedding ring we needed something simple. We got an 18k plain gold band, and nobody bothered us in the least about being cheap!

They had my wedding band made to match my engagement ring, and added pink sapphires for me since my favorite color is pink!
