Sally Oakley Personalized Wedding Planning

Sally was amazing!! My wedding ran so smoothly and she contacted all of my vendors for me before the wedding to make sure they were there on time. I did not have to worry on my wedding day about details. Everyone was on time and everything was perfect. She was always quick to respond to emails and phone calls and took great care of all of my guests. Sally was very organized and created a timeline of events for the wedding day and adjusted to how the time was going during the wedding. I could not have asked for a better wedding planner or wedding day!

We knew before we met Sally face to face that we were going to love her and we did. She possesses a very rare combination: high attention to detail without being dictatorial. She is not that constantly-in-the-way consultant you sometimes see at weddings. She is very soft, but nothing is overlooked. She was just in the background until she was needed. Sally really made the evening carefree for us. We were able to relax and enjoy our event and leave the details to her.

Sally is amazing. She made what could have been a very stressful destination wedding weekend incredibly fun and pleasant. She was diligent in managing all of our vendors and contacts and interacted with everyone in a very professional an unobtrusive way. She has such a great disposition and strikes a perfect balance between extremely organized and professional while being very fun and easy to be around – our entire bridal party loved her! Sally was outstanding in handling my daughter's wedding. I was out of state, and my daughter in school and working full time. I couldn't have done this without her. The vendors she recommended were excellent, especially Kelly Odom florals. She handled all the phone calls, arrangements among vendors, contacted everyone to make sure all was on track. The day went without a hitch, and we had a very relaxing day thanks to Sally who literally did it all while we had our hair and makeup done. I had an injury which left me unable to help out much in the months before the wedding. Sally just told me to relax and she would take care of it all. I don't know that we got any better prices or discounts, but I think we definitely got better service with the vendors. She attends all meetings, takes notes, makes suggestions where needed, and responds to emails and phone calls promptly. She is very low key, non-stressed, easy to work with, and works with all your own ideas. We simply arrived from out of state and found everything already organized and running smoothly. Definitely recommend.

For two busy professionals getting married, Sally's work was extraordinarily valuable. Even though we wanted to do much of the leg-work ourselves, Sally was able to determine easily how to accommodate those interests and prevent us from overlooking important needs. And when we couldn't get it all done, Sally easily took the ball to the goal. Is there something we should have done differently? Yeah...we should have used more of her services! We recommend her highly.

Wow! Sally Oakley has got to be the best wedding planner around because I could not imagine anyone or company better. Sally is a wedding perfectionist with an amazing personality. Sally gets down to every large and nitty gritty detail there is to weddings. She gave excellent recommendations of vendors, color ideas and choices, ceremony and reception set-up, rehearsal directing, and much much more. Our whole bridal party, which was very large, knew exactly what they were to do, when to do something, and when to be there. I believe this is what helped my day run so smoothly and allowed everyone to have fun. On top of the value she delivered though her talent, she also delivered as much value through her personality. She is very personable, easy to connect with, calm under any circumstance and definitely has a proactive approach. I loved her, my family loved her, my husband loved her, my vendors loved herÅ  pretty much everyone who interacts with Sally loves her. She was the reason my wedding was the exact experience I was hoping for as a bride, and not stressful one bit. My wedding day activities went very smoothly and my husband and I had so much fun. We continuously talk about our day and how perfect it was and we both are very thankful we chose Sally for our wedding coordinator. Hiring Sally was the best decision I made during wedding planning. Her "Day of" package suited my needs as I had already selected and hired most of our other vendors. However, the "Day of" package is an understatement for the amount of work Sally put into making our day a success. She helped me feel so organized and ready as our big day arrived. My husband and I were truly able to enjoy our wedding day without a care in the world. Needless to say, Sally was worth every penny.

Sally Oakley wedding planning was exactly what we needed to make our Wedding Day perfect. We came up with Big ideas for the day & Sally arranged all the important details...she is truly an organizational wonder. She was flexible enough to work in a new venue (DBAP), tactful with the complicated extended families, extremely detail oriented- remembering all the small things I would have forgotten, & proactive with vedors to save us thousands of dollars. Our Wedding simply would not have been the same without her there to orchestrate the entire event.

Sally's expertise is invaluable--she really knows how to make things run smoothly! Our daughter's wedding and reception were as close to perfect as possible. Sally's attention to detail really suited my style and fulfilled my wishes. Formulate your ideas and wishes and write them down as you plan in the beginning. The more speciific you are, the easier it will be. Sally is a "storehouse" of ideas, and can help you with vendor choices, food selection, decorations, etc. to go along with your chosen motif. I felt pretty organized, but she provided stability, consistency, and security to all of the planning that we did. Sally is an incredibly nice person, and working with her was delightful! She made it possible for me to totally relax on the biggest day of my daughter's life. Her services were worth every penny paid--and much, much more! I heartily recommend her.

Sally was a wonderful resource and support person for my daughters wedding this past June in Raleigh. She was invaluable during the weekend of the wedding and I couldn't have survived without her. She was organized and on top of all that needed to be done or thought about throughout the whole event from rehearsal dinner to the end of the reception. Sally is a wonderful event planner! She worked with me from the very beginning to provide what I needed. She was always very responsive and provided some wonderful ideas and recommendations for me. She was very detail oriented and organized and did a great job of keeping me sane through the process! I was confident in turning over my big day to her and knowing that I didn't need to worry about anything. They say something always goes wrong on your wedding day...well, if so, Sally handled it with grace and poise and I never knew! I highly recommend her!

Sally planned and coordinated our destination wedding, and she was genuinely excited to help us plan our perfect wedding day! Sally was AMAZING! We wanted to have our wedding at our home and didn't have a clue where to start. And we wanted to pull it off in under 2 months! Sally was the first planner to call us back and she did it on a Sunday (we just sent a request on Saturday night). That showed us she was dedicated. She was easy to work with and appreciated how important our wedding was to us. On the day of the wedding she was here long before the first vendor arrived and didn't leave until the reception was over and the caterers had gone. I knew she had my back and would take care of anything I needed on that day, and believe me, I needed a lot. She helped our wedding to become the most beautiful and perfect day that we will remember forever. She even made the rain stop for the entire day.

Sally served as our Day of Coordinator. I could not have gotten through the day of our daughter's wedding without her. There are just too many last minute details for which you need an experienced, calm point person. We chose Sally after interviewing 3 similar vendors b/c we felt she was more professional than the other vendors and this turned out to be true. The other wedding vendors with whom she interfaced (bakery, restaurant, florist etc ) had only good things to say about her as well. I would highly recommend her.

I am a huge procrastinator and without Sally would probably still be planning my wedding. We found her and she listened to what we were looking for and within 4-6 weeks we had our vendors- hall, DJ, caterer, florist, officiant,....just about everything booked! The best part was the day of- I had 0 stress, everything was taken care of. It was perfect.
