Sally Oakley Personalized Wedding Planning

Sally was amazing and helped us plan our beautiful wedding. She helped with everything including vendors, venues, etiquette and answered our endless questions. My husband and I both work full time and she was so helpful in planning our wedding with our limited available time. Sally and her assistant were professional and firm without being pushy! Thank you so much Sally for all your help and making our wedding perfect!!!

Sally was marvelous! I don't know what we would have done without her. She was calm, organized, and completely professional.

I hired Sally as my day-of coordinator. She went above and beyond in so many ways to make my day perfect. She always had great ideas and was there for encouragement and support leading up to the wedding. On the day of, she saved the day so many times! She fought battles with difficult vendors and kept me (and my mother) stress free the entire day. She is calm, professional, and always on top of things. I would recommend her to anyone!

Sally was such a vital part of our day. She made sure everything went smoothly and if it weren't for her, we would have forgotten to cut the cake, throw the bouquet and garter, and many other important events since we were busy talking to guests. She kept us to our timeline but made adjustments as necessary. We needed to go outside with the photographer to take more pictures during the reception and Sally adjusted accordingly. The first things my husband said when we drove away was "I'm so glad we hired Sally". Sally is kind, patient, and flexible. She gets the job done with a smile on her face. By far, the best money we spent. Thank you so much, Sally!

Sally was awesome. My husband and I did most of the planning for our wedding ourselves and hired Sally for "day-of" management. I'm so glad we did! She gave us great tips before the wedding, but didn't ever push us to do anything we didn't want to do. She worked with us to figure out how all the pieces would come together and I absolutely trusted her on my wedding day to make sure everything happened right. Even though we chose to do so much ourselves, it would have been really tough to pull of the event without her. She was professional and responsible and all around great to work with!

There is not enough space here to list and discuss all of Sally’s wonderful qualities! She is the best of the best for so many reasons, and my new husband and I feel so blessed to have had her plan our wedding! Chapel Hill was a destination wedding for us, as we live in Virginia, and Sally did everything she could to make the planning, organization, and the wedding and reception flawless. She is positive, funny, warm, and extremely kind, and she worked so hard to make our day about as wonderful as it could be for us! Many of our guests commented “You thought of everything!” (That means Sally thought of everything.) Our family and guests loved meeting her, and we do not know what we would have done without her. She is a fantastic person, as well as planner.

I hired Sally for my day of coordination last August for my wedding memorial day weekend. She came highly recommended and was worth it! I had already selected many of my vendors, but Sally helped me make last minute decisions a few weeks ago regarding some vendors. Given my crazy work schedule, we met over two months before my wedding for over 2 hours to go over details, create the timeline and ensure Sally had all the information she needed, etc. From our initial meeting in August, to our meeting this spring to our wedding day, I sent Sally a gazillion emails with details and issues regarding our wedding. The day before, Sally and our officiant led our rehearsal, and I knew everything would fall into place under Sally's careful eye. Even though we had a big unexpected dose of drama on my wedding day from a relative, I emailed Sally with updates and she handled everything with grace. My husband and I were able to revel in the excitement and joy of our wedding day without any worries.

Sally was absolutely fabulous to work with! She made everything so easy for us. I really thought I would be nervous and stressed out the weekend of the wedding, but Sally took care of everything so there was nothing to worry about, so we could just relax and enjoy the weekend. I would recommend Sally to ANYONE! Thank you Sally for making our wedding so wonderful! :)

Sally was amazing!! My wedding ran so smoothly and she contacted all of my vendors for me before the wedding to make sure they were there on time. I did not have to worry on my wedding day about details. Everyone was on time and everything was perfect. She was always quick to respond to emails and phone calls and took great care of all of my guests. Sally was very organized and created a timeline of events for the wedding day and adjusted to how the time was going during the wedding. I could not have asked for a better wedding planner or wedding day!

Sally and her team were WONDERFUL! We hired them for day of coordination and they went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly. They were knowledgeable, professional, flexible, and were overall just great people to have coordinating the big day!

We knew before we met Sally face to face that we were going to love her and we did. She possesses a very rare combination: high attention to detail without being dictatorial. She is not that constantly-in-the-way consultant you sometimes see at weddings. She is very soft, but nothing is overlooked. She was just in the background until she was needed. Sally really made the evening carefree for us. We were able to relax and enjoy our event and leave the details to her.

Sally is amazing. She made what could have been a very stressful destination wedding weekend incredibly fun and pleasant. She was diligent in managing all of our vendors and contacts and interacted with everyone in a very professional an unobtrusive way. She has such a great disposition and strikes a perfect balance between extremely organized and professional while being very fun and easy to be around – our entire bridal party loved her! We highly recommend Sally and her team.

Sally was outstanding in handling my daughter's wedding. I was out of state, and my daughter in school and working full time. I couldn't have done this without her. The vendors she recommended were excellent, especially Kelly Odom florals. She handled all the phone calls, arrangements among vendors, contacted everyone to make sure all was on track. The day went without a hitch, and we had a very relaxing day thanks to Sally who literally did it all while we had our hair and makeup done. I had an injury which left me unable to help out much in the months before the wedding. Sally just told me to relax and she would take care of it all. I don't know that we got any better prices or discounts, but I think we definitely got better service with the vendors. She attends all meetings, takes notes, makes suggestions where needed, and responds to emails and phone calls promptly. She is very low key, non-stressed, easy to work with, and works with all your own ideas. We simply arrived from out of state and found everything already organized and running smoothly. Definitely recommend.

For two busy professionals getting married, Sally's work was extraordinarily valuable. Even though we wanted to do much of the leg-work ourselves, Sally was able to determine easily how to accommodate those interests and prevent us from overlooking important needs. And when we couldn't get it all done, Sally easily took the ball to the goal. Is there something we should have done differently? Yeah...we should have used more of her services! We recommend her highly.

Wow! Sally Oakley has got to be the best wedding planner around because I could not imagine anyone or company better. Sally is a wedding perfectionist with an amazing personality. Sally gets down to every large and nitty gritty detail there is to weddings. She gave excellent recommendations of vendors, color ideas and choices, ceremony and reception set-up, rehearsal directing, and much much more. Our whole bridal party, which was very large, knew exactly what they were to do, when to do something, and when to be there. I believe this is what helped my day run so smoothly and allowed everyone to have fun. On top of the value she delivered though her talent, she also delivered as much value through her personality. She is very personable, easy to connect with, calm under any circumstance and definitely has a proactive approach. I loved her, my family loved her, my husband loved her, my vendors loved herĹ  pretty much everyone who interacts with Sally loves her. She was the reason my wedding was the exact experience I was hoping for as a bride, and not stressful one bit. My wedding day activities went very smoothly and my husband and I had so much fun. We continuously talk about our day and how perfect it was and we both are very thankful we chose Sally for our wedding coordinator. I can say with 100% confidence that I would recommend Sally Oakley to any bride and I can guarantee Sally Oakley is worth...
