Rocky Top Catering & 1705 Prime

Kevin was a pleasure to work with!!!! He helped us pick the perfect menu that was unique but still very tasty! Our guests loved the food and as we walked around, all we saw were empty plates. The staff was awesome and very responsive. They made sure that the bridal party got appetizers during the cocktail hour (since we had to take pics) and they were very nice. Kevin and the staff at Rocky Top are absolutely the best!!

Not only was the food delicious, but the service was AMAZING! Our reception felt like a five-star restaurant and our guests raved about the food. Throughout the entire planning process, Kevin was incredibly responsive and helped us with every detail, even arranging for us to have a special Cheerwine toast :) Food is such a major part of a wedding and we were relieved to have had such a professional staff that made our evening flow perfectly. We love Rocky Top!!

Jenn and the entire Rocky Top Catering team were amazing. They took great care of me from the initial planning stages to the actual event and made it stress free. The food was incredible and my guest are still talking about it and service. Of course the physical environment is very beautiful, classy and warm. This venue is worth every penny spent!! I just hate that my wedding is over! I highly recommend this venue for any special event that you are planning.

Rocky Top was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Kevin and the entire Rocky Top made us a top priority throughout the entire wedding process. The food was excellent and served in an expeditious manner. Kevin went so far as to assist my planner with picking out linens, etc. They allowed us to make changes even as close to a week before the wedding and were always looking for ways to give us better value for the price. Their appetizers were a hit amongst the guests. I would recommend this vendor to friends, family, and strangers.

Rocky top catering and 1705 Prime helped to make our wedding the most amazing memorable day of our lives. We couldn't have asked for better people to help with our day. We were not really sure what to expect when we used Rocky Top in another venue, and not the 1705 Prime location, but were absolutely thrilled with both the service and the food! Our guests raved about the personalized service at each table, and yet the servers were also very unobtrusive in their efforts to be everywhere at once. They worked hard the whole evening, bringing drinks, clearing plates and were friendly and professional for the duration of the event. The food was absolutely delicious and convinced our daughter that a buffet could be elegant as well as tasty! Thank you again for making our daughter's wedding an amazing day! The Hernandez family

My fiance' and I went to a couple of tastings before we went to Rocky Top Catering. But once we entered Rocky Top, we knew there was something special about the place. After tasting the food and making a personal appointment we knew we had made the right choice. Catering Sales Manager, Kevin DeHimer walked us through the whole process without a hitch. He helped me in every step of the way. From selecting the plated meal to even going with me to pick out the linens, china and flatware. I felt that Kevin acted far beyound the call of his duty to make sure our wedding was perfect! Rocky Top and their staff is the BEST!

Rocky Top Catering was wonderful to work with. They were flexible to meet my needs both financially and with meeting times and the reception itself. Their team is very kind and personable and they did an excellent job serving our guests. I would highly recommend using them!! oh, and their food is amaaaazing :)!!!

The venue was absolutely gorgeous. Food was good, not as amazing as what we had at the tasting but still very good. Staff was very accomodating and provided quality service. Jenn C. was our sales manager who coordinated the whole thing and did everything we asked and beyond, she was so thorough with everything to make the day easy on us. And packed up everything that night for us perfectly to pick up the following day. Very pleased and I would definitely suggest them to anyone.

Kevin DeHimer and the staff at Rocky Top were absolutely wonderful to work with. We would recommend them to anyone who is looking for the best bang for your buck without wanting to cut corners. First and foremost, our wedding reception food was amazing ... two months later and we're still getting complements on the shrimp & grits, filets, and late night snacks (sliders, chips & guacamole!). The staff was extremely easy to work with and willing to answer 1000s of questions. They were flexible and happy to customize the menu to fit both our budget and our preferences. I would definitely use them again.

I've actually posted a comment already under the caterers info. I would like to add had I known that they had venues to have your event at; I would have booked their venue as well. Would have save a whole lot of money and headaches.

Kevin Dehimer and the staff at Rocky Top Catering did a superb job in making my reception the best reception ever. They were professional and attentive, and went above and beyond the call of duty. The services provided were more than just catering, and it made my day one of the best days ever. The food was absolutely excellent!!!! I highly recommend Rocky Top Catering.

We fell in love with this venue as soon as we saw it. We love the modern feel inside with the outdoor ceremony location. All the staff were very accommodating and made each of our requests a reality. Our coordinator did change three times throughout our planning process which was a little frustrating but each person was very responsive and attentive. The only small negative I would have about the site would be the location. The busy street corner is a bit noisy but it did provide some comic relief to our ceremony! All in all I would highly recommend 1705 to any couple!a

I cannot say enough great things about the staff at 1705 Prime. Every detail of my wedding was handled beautifully! As someone who likes to micromanage every single detail, I fully trusted the amazing staff (Alison and Jenn) and was able to let go and just enjoy my day to the fullest. 1705 Prime has an amazing combination of southern charm and modern elegance, you will be so happy you picked them!!!

Jenn, Allison and all the staff were wonderful to work with. Their suggestions were invaluable in helping us get the reception my daughter and her fiance wanted to have and still have it within our budget. The food was AWESOME! We had many, many comments on how delicious the food was! My compliments to the chef. The service was excellent. The staff did a great job of passing the appetizers so that everyone had a chance to sample everything. They also did a great job of servicing the food stations so there was plenty of food for the main courses as people returned for seconds. They were also great about removing finished plates from the tables, offering additional drinks, etc. It couldn't have been done more professionally. I would HIGHLY recommend Rocky Top Catering to anyone!

Without a doubt I would recomend 1705 Prime to anyone planning a wedding. The venue is the best deal out there and such a beautiful spot pictures. It is big and has plenty of space for guests to roam and be comfortable. Guests have told me it is some of the best wedding food they have ever had. Creating our menu was effortless and they really do work with you on everything! The staff is wonderful and I always felt I could trust them with everything. In fact, all my other vendors told me how wonderful they were to work with. 1705 Prime and Rocky Top really made my wedding the best I could imagine!

RockyTop was awesome to work with and the food was delicious. Alison P was amazing and had all the answers and knew exactly what to do even when I didn't. She probably did way more than what she had too, but I truly believe I owe the success of my wedding reception to her! Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had our reception at 1705 Prime and can't say enough good about it! The employee we worked with was so pleasant and was happy to address any concern we had in the planning process. We came two days before the wedding to bring some "decorations" and personalized pieces for the reception and expected to be there for a couple of hours setting up. Alison, our event contact, insisted that we leave the items and that they would take care of everything....and the day of the wedding I saw what a great job they did with set-up! Other weddings in my family, we had to do almost all the work at the facilities we used for receptions-down to passing out favors/farewell rose petals,etc. 1705 was a breath of fresh air because we actually felt like guests at our own event. They were so willing to help and take things off of our worry list. The facility itself is unique with contemporary decor. I didn't have to do much decorating because the place is already pretty! I would highly recommend having an event at 1705, the staff was wonderful and they truly helped make our reception enjoyable and carefree.

I cannot say enough amazing things about 1705 Prime (Rocky Top Hospitality) to serve proper justice. This venue and catering made our day PERFECT! We found 1705 and began working with Kevin there and received amazing communication and information. They were so flexible with our travel schedule (we are from out of town) for doing walk through visits and catering meetings. Alison served as our catering manager and perfectly attended to nearly every detail, question and concern we had! They are experienced, accountable, flexible and the food is amazing! So many guests commented that the venue was one of the best & most unique they had been to and was an excellent venue for the cocktail hour and dinner/dancing reception we had. Our guests also informed us that the food was by far the best they had ever had at a wedding before! My (now) husband and I purchased so much glassware and hundreds of candles, amongst all the other reception items, and they were nice enough to store everything for us in advance and set everything up perfectly! After our final walk through, I knew everything would be perfect, and it was. Amazing food, amazing venue and among the best of the best in service!! Our guests couldn't believe how awesome the cocktail, dinner and bar service was!! Highly recommended -- this place will ensure your event is perfection!
