I always thought I would have a band at my wedding. When it came down to planning, for various reasons we decided to go DJ. I couldn't help but be a little nervous. That being said: Joe was a superstar!! He was an absolute delight to work with and ensured that everything went exceptionally smooth! I would trust any of his DJ's to bring the house down, just like he did at our reception! If there was a moment when people started to mozy off the dance floor, he would immediately fade the song out and drop a hot beat pulling everyone back, and then some! He had 10 year olds out there dancing with 75 year olds! He will work with you to create whatever vibe you want throughout the night! The hardest part was pulling the plug! We had an outdoor reception, so due to sound ordinances, he had to shut it down at 11 pm. Otherwise we would have happily kidnapped him for the rest of the night! Joe Bunn DJ Company, DO IT.

Our DJ Jeremy did a fantastic job with our wedding. I would hire him over and over! He made sure the dance floor was packed and made sure to ask if there was anything more he could do. Loved it!!

Using Mark McNally from Joe Bunn DJ Company was easily one of the best choices we made for our wedding. Mark was pleasant and easy to work with from the beginning, and really delivered on the day of the wedding. He arrived early to set up and get familiar with the venue, and managed to transition between three different locations within the venue (for ceremony, cocktail, and reception) seamlessly! He incorporated our personalities into the music he played while making sure the dance floor stayed full -- even our older guests got up to dance! Mark also served as our timeline manager during the reception, making sure everything stayed on schedule. I could not have asked for anything more from our DJ. (Plus, everyone loved the Irish accent!) Bottom line: If I had it to do over, I would absolutely hire Mark again, and I plan to recommend him to everyone! He was more than worth it.

Joe was amazing to work with and really kept the party going and our wedding was truly amazing because of such a fabulous party!

Randy was awesome! Our guests were on the floor from the moment it opened up until our big exit. Not only is Randy great with the music and fitting to our tastes, but he is very professional in making sure he has all of the details confirmed accurately in advance, and in running everything smoothly for his part. My only negative is that the night had to end!!

We hired Mark McNally to DJ our wedding and we were so happy with him! He played a great mix of songs at the reception and we had more than a few people come up to us and tell us how much they loved the DJ. If you want to be assured that your event music is going to entertain and get EVERYONE out of their seats (like my husband's 88 year old grandfather!), then there's no question whether or not to hire one of the guys at Joe Bunn.

Kent was so easy to work with. He was enthusiastic about everything and had a lot of good suggestions. On the day of the event he did everything just as he said he would and my wedding ceremony and reception were perfect.

Randy Bennett was the DJ for our outdoor wedding, and my bride and I HIGHLY recommend him! But ask for him quickly, since he's one of Joe Bunn's best and books up very quickly (we booked him over a year in advance). We read all the reviews about Joe Bunn DJ Company and it seemed pretty clear that they were the best in the Triangle; and now having worked with them, we can't overstate how amazing they are. A few specifics that come to mind: They are very professional and very responsive. Their operation surely continues to grow and I'm sure they have so many bookings to manage, but they are always a quick email or phone call away, and we felt like a valued customer. Their customer tools are fantastic. Being able to create our own playlist was a HUGE win. We could go into the portal on the company's site and select 50 must-play songs, 25 "play if there's time" songs, and 25 "please for the love, don't play" songs. When you enter a song, they'll return matching results, so you know that you're picking an actual track, not just submitting empty requests. Easy to save, load and submit, it was great. Same thing goes for the wedding details (time, location, run of show, special comments for songs/moments, etc.). Most importantly, Randy made it very clear that wedding was about US. He took all of our feedback and direction so well, and he made sure that we were the stars of the show. He kept checking in with us, which we really appreciated, and he made sure that the party was just what we hoped for. And believe me…every single guest was sweating and had no voice by the end of the night…so you know the DJ killed it! All in all, Randy was amazing and we hope that you’re lucky enough to have him at your wedding!

Mark McNally was the DJ for our wedding in May and I must say I could not be happier with my experience. He exceeded my expectations. My best friend was married in August 2012 and Mark was her DJ. It was my turn to get married and I just remembered how much fun everyone had dancing at her wedding and how he played the perfect mix of music. I called to book Mark as soon as I had my venue. When my husband I met with him the week before we went over the important songs to play like first dances, etc and then we finalized a few more songs through their playlist application. We discussed the type of music we wanted but by no means told him every song we wanted to hear but somehow he figured out the perfect balance of songs to play at the exact right times to play them. He also kept everything flowing smoothly. As the Bride once I got to the reception I could finally sit back and relax…Mark was taking care of everything we discussed previously. No checking the clock to see when it was time to cut the cake, toss the bouquet, etc…he was on top of everything! DJ Mark executed the music and timeline PERFECTLY! I 110% recommend him to any bride for their wedding.

Easy to work with - everyone at the wedding thought they were great

We used Joe Bunn DJ Company for our wedding reception and specifically had Joe DJ for us. From the start we found the company professional and easy to work with (not like some of the other DJs we spoke to who barely had a functioning website). There are great online tools to select songs and create a playlist. I gave Joe a lot of song suggestions, both for dancing as well as for dinner music where I wanted a very specific feel and he did a great job executing and putting together a song list that kept everyone on the dance floor for hours. We got a lot of compliments on the dinner music too, which many times can be overlooked or go unnoticed. Joe also did a great job with the emcee duties. He made just enough announcements and gave the guests the right level of guidance as to what was coming next, without being obtrusive or cheesy. To be honest, I barely noticed he was there, because I was so focused on the great music being played. Joe was professionally dressed in a suit and fit right in with our guests' attire. We did a call with Joe right before the event to ensure he understood what we were looking for. We had debated between band or DJ and evaluated a few other DJs and we were extremely pleased with our choice in Joe Bunn DJ Company.

We were very lucky to have Joe himself come DJ our wedding! He was superb and had everyone dancing until the very last song! We had such a good time, we did not want it to end as there was always a song to dance to. I would have to say that Joe's entertainment helped make my wedding a lot of fun and I want to thank him for that!

Kent was great! He did our ceremony and reception, and everything went off without a hitch. Our guests had a blast and danced the night away. The venue manager even told us that they had never seen that many people out on the dance floor. Kent helped make our wedding perfect.
