Great photographers, great value, and very down to earth. They are so great to work with and very flexible if things come up, which they always do when planning a wedding. The quality of the photos and the memories they captured were amazing! I won a free session for a bridal shoot with a different photographer and I really wish I hadn't wasted my time. Carolina Mediastar took care of my bridal woes the day of my wedding and the product was exceptional. Teri and Sarah work magic behind the camera and they do it with ease. If we ever need professional photography in the future I know who I'm calling!

I cannot say enough good things about Sarah and Terry from Carolina MediaStar! They made planning the bridal portrait session and wedding photos very easy. I especially appreciated their flexible photo packages that allowed us to get the most for our money. The bridal session was actually done at our reception venue and the pictures were incredible! Each one looked like a high fashion shoot! Although we were not able to do the session until the "last minute", the portraits we ordered were still delivered before the wedding and we were able to use them at the reception site. The time spent at the wedding was exactly what we needed and again the pictures were beautifully edited. I was so happy that within a few hours of every email, Sarah was responding with just the words I needed to hear. Thanks MediaStar for helping us make our daughter's dream come true!

Carolina Mediastar was a pleasure to work with from the beginning. I had a few scheduling issues, but they were so flexible with me! They always responded to my emails promptly, and assauged any concerns I had. They had great rates, but there was no question about the quality of work they did! Terry and James were just wonderful on the big day, and captured some truly special moments that we can treasure forever.

Terry & Sarah were the best team we could have asked for on our big day! They were professional but relaxed which helped us to feel comfortable during our shoots. Carolina Media Star is a great value for your money. They offer the same quality as many of the "big" name photographers in the city but for a much more competitive price! I was extremely pleased about my experience with Carolina Mediastar. I (like most brides) considered photography to be the most important thing about that special day. Having been married now for 2 months, that consideration was true, in that the pictures from my wedding incredibly captured how I felt at that very moment. The quality of the pictures was beautiful and the creativity of the shots made the photos look totally unique and one-of-a-kind. I never felt stressed out during picture taking, I was able to enjoy myself while the photographers managed to capture every special moment. I was able to contact somebody from the company whenever I needed to and always received a prompt response by email. I have two younger sisters (who are not YET married!!!)so hope to have the opportunity of working with them again. I would recommend them hands down to anybody looking for a photographer. It was a pleasure to work with Sarah for my wedding pictures. From her portfolio I could tell that she had the creativity I was looking for. She and I communicated and met several times thoughout the year to discuss the photos. I also ended up having a bridal portait done, which I hadn't planned on originally. I was thrilled with the results.

Carolina Media Star did an excellent job! I was so impressed with our pictures and service. They were so organized and nice through out our special day, and did not miss a moment, everything was captured just perfect, just the way we wanted without us having to even ask :)

Where do I begin? My husband and I were married during the ice/snow storm in Raleigh on January 30, 2010. As the wedding day grew nearer, we became more concerned about our guests making it safely to the wedding and our vendors being able to get there. We were SO FORTUNATE to have such wonderful photographers at Carolina MediaStar. Sarah, Terry and Josh really pulled through, despite the terrible weather and bad roads. Terry and Josh stayed in downtown Raleigh the night before our wedding to make sure they were there for the big day, no matter what the weather turned out to be! Sarah was on the phone with me the day before to make sure my mind was at ease and to give a few suggestions to keep in mind for snow photo shots the next day. Sure enough, we got plenty of sleet, ice, and snow the night before our wedding. We woke up to roads not being plowed. But, it all worked out!!! Most of the guests arrived before the storm and were able to attend the ceremony and reception that were both held in downtown Raleigh. Terry and Josh were able to take AWESOME photo shots in the snow. They really pulled through!!! We had over 40 local guests not able to drive in that day due to the treacherous roads. With Terry and Josh’s photos, we were able to share the day with them in pictures. It’s amazing how many compliments we have received and how many people have given Terry and Josh rave reviews. The team at Carolina MediaStar was awesome! Sarah always answered emails promptly & made sure everything was in order throughout this process. Terry, her Dad, along with the other photographers he brought along, took fabulous pictures & fit in very well with our wedding party & guests. Carolina MediaStar take pride in what they do & truly don't rest until you are 100% happy. I found them at a bridal show & hired them without any recommendations. I am so glad I took that chance! Our albums came in today (my fault that it's been so long since the wedding--so many gorgeous pics to choose from; I couldn't decide!). We couldn't be happier with how they turned out! Sarah and Terry were absolutely wonderful to work with from beginning to end. I am extremely picky about my pictures and photography (having a graphic design degree) and their work first caught my eye with their beautiful images and creative ways of shooting. They went above and beyond throughout this past year. Sarah and Terry did an amazing job with our engagement pictures in downtown Raleigh. We got so many compliments from family and friends. They even stayed an extra hour so they could get a few different location shots! Sarah made me and my husband feel totally at ease during the whole process and had great ideas with poses etc. During the past year, I had so many questions and she was quickly responsive to all my e-mails. The wedding day was so busy and such a blur as a bride, and I'm so glad we went w/ Carolina Media Star because they captured every moment and emotion with beautiful images and videography. This photographer is amazing. They charge a lot less then others in the area and they are willing to travel all over North Carolina at no extra cost. It was a no brainer to go with them. the pictures came out amazing .... and they are really professional. It's a father daughter team and the daughter takes amazing photos and has a real good eye for modern posses and shots... and the dad has a great sense of humor that kept my friends and family laughing durning those boring group photos. I had a guests at my wedding come up and tell me how great Carolina MediaStar was and that they didn't feel they need to take photos because they were right there taking better shots then they could ever get. Best vender we chose for our wedding, hands down!
