Cards and Pockets has been one of the worst companies that I have ever had to deal with. They have zero flexibility and refused to consider any type of accommodations due to a recent order for their 2x2 monogrammed cards. The "S" on the monogrammed cards appears to be an "F". After speaking with 2 different people in their office all refused to help me because I did not order a sample. As a result of this a have lost $100.00, and they would not even provide me with a discount for a reprint. By far the worst company I have dealt with while planning my wedding.

I requested a sample that was supposed to have free postage. But when they arrived, my mail carrier told me that they hadn't put on any postage.... To get the card, I'd have to pony up $2. No big deal, but it seemed so cheesy, it left me with doubts. So, I called to give them a chance to apologize, credit the difference, etc. Instead, the guy asked me to send documentation to prove I'd had to pay for the postage. Sadly, that made it clear that this company is incredibly cheesy. Definitely made me look elsewhere. Will try LCI and keep you posted.
Cards & Pockets says:
Thank you for the candid review. This simply should not have happened as you've explained and does not line up with our policies regarding shipping errors. Our sincere apologies for the mistake with your sample postage and poor experience with us. It is always our highest priority to ensure the best experience for our customers.

I wish that I had read some of the other reviews on here before I ordered the envelopes and pockets for my wedding invitations from C&P. I purchased almost 700 envelopes and 200 of their Signature Pocket Invitations. While I will say that the pocket material was sturdy and the color was beautiful, the dimensions are absolutely not what I needed. When you click on the pocket that you want, you can scroll down to select the color and order from there. The only dimensions that were listed said that it was 5" x 7," so I assumed that the pocket was going to be roughly the same size. Boy was I wrong. I called customer service asking for a shipping label so that I did not have to pay for their misguided website issues and they were more than unfriendly to me. I asked to speak to the manager, and he practically told me that if I searched all over his website, I would find the dimensions of the pocket that are tucked away under the scrolling header on the top of the pocket page. He offered no sympathy or customer friendliness and told me that I "should't have a problem returning the pockets." I am returning the items today, and will be livid if they say that I did not package the items correctly. I told him that I will never use their website again or recommended them to anyone, and it was as if he did not care. Here goes nothing...

I would highly recommend checking out Cards & Pockets during your invitation search. Everyone I worked with was incredibly nice and helpful. The prices were extremely affordable and the quality of my invitations were even better than I expected. My invitations are very plain, but I dressed them up with an envelope liner. I've gotten tons of compliments and would use C&P again without a second thought. In fact, they'll be printing my programs, too!

I loved the pocket folder invitation and ordered the sample packet with some sample colors. Erin was extremely helpful and replied to all of my emails almost instantly! The turnaround time for our wording was literally the same day (thank you, John!) and the invitations are beautiful! We had them matte a separate color which matches the ink. They look classy and just gorgeous! It was such a painless process and I couldn't be more grateful and happier.

I used Cards & Pockets for our DIY invitations. It saved us SO much money! The women I emailed back and forth were really helpful as well and usually emailed me back right away, even after 5 pm. I also used them for printing the parts of the invitations and that worked really well too. Everything shipped really quickly and got here right away (they are based in MA and I'm in NJ so it wasn't that far to go either). I ordered samples of the paper to truly see color and I really suggest that everyone do that. Also, definitely get a sample if you use them to print. Was helpful to really see it before I ordered 100 of everything. Definitely recommend them though!

I used Cards & Pockets to make my wedding invitations. I ordered samples beforehand as they suggested to make sure the colors were what I wanted. Once I placed my full order it came very quickly and everything was in good shape. The quality of their materials is excellent for the price you are paying. My invitations looked amazing and I received many compliments about them from my guests . To make 125 invitations, it cost me less than $200.

We ordered from Cards and Pocket for our wedding invitations. They look amazing. Cards and Pocket has the best customer service, they listen to everything you ask for and provides the best service and support. I literally placed my order a wk ago (155 invites) and needed everything back in less than a wk. It was completely my fault for losing track of time, but the staff at Cards and Pockets delivered everything to me a day ahead! To future customers of Cards and Pockets: just make sure to allow enough time for review. They won't print until you're completely satisfied with the proof, which is a good thing! :)

I purchased a variety of metallic paper, cardstock, envelopes, and so on to make my own wedding invitations. They had a large selection, though I did have to use another website to get one item because they don't have every combination for every color. They were able to give me good information about one item that was out of stock and when it would arrive again. I didn't do the best job about determining how much I would need the first shipment so I had to make multiple orders and thus had to pay the high shipping cost a few times. I heard they used to have coupon codes a long time ago but I watched for a while and never saw any. Coupons for repeat business or promos for free shipping sometimes would have been nice. It was still cheaper to make my own invitations than to buy them anywhere though for what I wanted.

I had an absolutely horrendous experience with cards and pockets with envelopes and liners for my wedding invitations. I chose to customize the color and provided the cmyk code as they ask, but then they delayed printing for a week and emailed me saying they had not printed because they weren't sure of the code I asked for. I immediately replied confirming the RGB count for the code I'd provided and confirmed. By the time they were ready to ship I was past my goal date for sending out the wedding invitations but there was no canceling the order- READ THE FINE PRINT. There are no returns or refunds on many of their products and anything customized. Finally, when I received the envelope liners they were purple instead of blue. When I emailed my complaint I received no reply. One hundred dollars wasted. Be careful with this company!
Cards & Pockets says:
We do hold custom orders when the product questions have not been fully completed. Its important that we have a clear understanding of what needs to be produced. At which point, we advertise a 4-8 print production turnaround time. We cannot accept returns on customizable items and do highly recommend ordering samples to see the exact final product before hand. Yes, please read our Order Terms. We are a fair and straight forward company. We list out our procedures and policies very clearly on this section of our website. E-mail, live chat, or call customer service with any questions at all.

Great company. It was wonderful being able to order samples so I could be sure of the color. I decided to make my own cards very last minute and they have turned out great. I wish I had known about you before because I could have produced a far more superior product than I did. I would absolutely recommend them.

We used Cards & Pockets for our invitations. I designed them myself using their Perfetto (square) size. There is a reason they are a world leader in DIY Pocket Invitation supplies. The quality of their products is far greater than anything I found that was comparable. We saved a large amount buying the products from them and designing and printing ourselves, making it so we could have our dream invitation at a fraction of the cost. We did all the printing at FedEx/Kinkos on their laser printers and the cardstock had no trouble going through the printers. We made our invitations, RSVP cards, programs, and menus from the same cardstock… again all at a fraction of the cost of having them done elsewhere. All of our guests thought we had them professionally designed. We highly recommend Cards & Pockets! Especially if you are creative!

I would definitely recommend Cards & Pockets for their value and versatility that allowed me to create the invitations I wanted in the way I wanted, but I would recommend starting early with ordering samples and proofs due to the long print/ship times and their inability to rush something after it's been ordered.

My new husband and I designed our own travel themed invitations. We used Cards & Pockets for printing, cutting and mounting. I would say that the quality of their prints are great, as are the choices of papers and colors. I was excited to use Cards & Pockets after a friend recommended them to me, and after I looked at their galleries on Facebook. After spending a TON of time making sure our invites were perfect (invite card and inserts), we ordered a sample, just as they suggest. It took a little longer than I expected to get the sample, but it wasn't a big deal. After getting the sample back, we decided to alter the colors just a tad and send new files along for a final print order for our invites. When we got our invitations back, C & P had printed the original files by mistake (from the sample, and not from the final updated order). While we ended up using the mistake invites since only the color had been altered, this was only because we didn't have time to wait for another order to be printed and mounted. Considering the time and effort we made to make the alterations to the final files, we were devastated at the mistake. Certainly mistakes happen, but we did send the updated files with the final order and sort of expected attention to that detail. C & P took responsibility and their customer service people were great about it...but in the end we just didn't have time to get the mistake fixed. While the invites were fine...great, even...in the end, we were slightly disappointed that our time and effort to make the invites perfect weren't represented in the final product. My advice for using C&P is to allow time in between ordering and your send-out date in case there is a mistake. I'd probably use them again if I needed to, but I'd be adamant about details and leave time in case something went wrong.

I designed my invitations based on DIY sites this summer and ordered samples for Cards & Pockets. They were beautiful! I love the option of ordering the samples because I knew I made the right decision. I ordered the pieces for my DIY invites and they arrived less than a week later. They are beautiful and I can't wait to make them!
