Blue Nile

When I was shopping for the ring the prices for brick and mortar shops and online retailers was so different I decided to give the online thing a go. Mostly compared James Allen and Blue Nile as those were the two sites that seemed to have the most reviews and info available. Both businesses had excellent customer service responding to my multiple emails on the same day and my calls were always handled professionally, provided the information I wanted, and I felt treated me like a valued customer. I admit I liked James Allen's site better as there's pictures of the actual diamond, while the best I could find for Blue Nile's was the pictures included on the GIA certificates. In the end I went Blue Nile as I needed a custom size ring that James Allen couldn't provide and didn't feel like ordering the ring and diamond from different vendors. I was expecting to pay a little extra for the ring to be custom sized, but they did it free of charge which I appreciated. I ordered on a Monday, the ring shipped on Friday and I had the package in my hands the following Monday. I have read that some people don't like the packaging Blue Nile ships with, but in this case I really don't mind. It came as a nondescript UPS package with no vendor label anywhere on the outside packaging. (Pretty useful as my fiancee had to sign for the package). The ring itself looks amazing, probably better than what the sample pictures show in my opinion. The diamond is perfect and exactly what I was expecting after viewing so many in store. I admit I was extremely anxious about paying so much for a ring sight unseen, but the whole process was extremely easy, customer service fantastic, and the product exceeded my expectations. I would order from Blue Nile again in a heartbeat.

We looked at multiple jewelers before settling on Blue Nile for my engagement ring. Blue Nile by far has the best prices and selection, especially for Asscher cut diamands (some jewelers don't offer Asscher at all!). Ring came in super fast and as ordered and appraised for way over what was paid for it. My fiancee did not have any complaints about the ordering or payment process. I have also gone back and forth with customer service via email regarding which wedding band will work with my engagement ring. They are very good about responding and answer questions well, though the responses did not always come from the same person each time, which was a little odd. 3 stars for flexibility because you cannot customize anything but the center stone.

Wide variety of diamonds and other gemstones and beautiful bands to set them in. Allows you to choose your individual diamond/gemstone and the setting and the band! Would definitely recommend to a friend!

Fast, efficient, and you get to customize your own jewelry! My husband bought my engagement ring from Blue Nile online for a great price. The ring was delivered on time via overnight FedEx which required a signature for tracking purposes. We then ordered wedding bands as well and the same promise and same prompt service was delivered. Very easy!

Blue Nile has an amazing selection of jewelry at fair prices. My engagement ring and wedding band came from Blue Nile, and I get compliments all of the time! Even though they are mostly an online company, when you call to place an order, they make you feel like your in a high end jewelry store, answering all of your questions, making recommendations, etc...Bottom Line: Blue Nile is amazing, I would recommend them without reservation.

We used Blue Nile for our wedding bands. They have a large selection of bands and staff over the phone are extremely helpful in answering any question we had. When the rings came in, they were beautiful. The prices are very good too. We had spent alot of time looking at rings at jewelery stores but were glad we decided to order through Blue Nile.

Awesome working with them! My fiance probably spoke with their customer service for a grand total of 10 and a half hours before actually purchasing anything, and they were more than happy to help! They sell beautiful rings, depending on what you are looking for of course, and they will educate you on what's best for the particular diamond you are going to buy!

Price/quality/ease/speediness of delivery- you just cannot beat Blue Nile! My now husband purchased my beautiful engagement ring from here and we also purchased our wedding bands from here as well and are very happy! While on our honeymoon we had at least 2 people comment how shiny & new our wedding bands looked :) My husband also got me a beautiful pair of blue sapphire earrings as a surprise "something blue" from them as well and they are stunning! Definitely recommend!

My husband and I tried to find wedding bands all over Miami, including the jewelry district places that were recommended. It was important to both of us that we got diamonds that were procured without harming anyone (no blood diamonds/violence). We ordered the rings within 2 weeks of the big day and even though we could not try them on they were fantastic. I got a pave diamond band and he got a platinum band. Both were cheaper than any that we had seen in stores. Plus my ring had better quality diamonds than the stores. Highly recommend.

Blue Nile has a great selection of high quality rings at great prices combined with the convenience of shopping online. Their customer service is top notch and will ensure you are happy wih your purchase. I do wish they had a larger selection of curved wedding bands specifically, however, they have a great selection otherwise. I love the rings we purchased from Blue Nile and will shop there in the future. Highly recommend.
