Beverly's of Midway did a beautiful job on my wedding flowers! I had a fairly unclear vision of what I wanted my flowers to look like, but I knew my colors and that I wanted to use Calla Lilies. They were also wonderful about working the flowers I needed into a pretty tight budget. Needless to say, I was very impressed and would highly recommend them!

Absolutely great! Beautiful wedding, I would definitely use Beverly's again! I live north of Winston-Salem, and when my best friend recommended Beverlys in Midway, I hesitated about getting florist so far away. But it was definitely one of the best decisions we made. Beverly is wonderful to work with. She took plenty of time and listened to what we wanted. She is incredibly creative, gave us tons of ideas and options. But she kept the 'look' we had in mind. She was budget-conscious (thank you Bev!) but nothing she did was 'cheap'-looking. She inspires confidence, and she deserves it. Wedding day at 8am, Bev was cheerful and on time despite the early hour and remote location (30 miles for her!). Then she cruised on over to the reception site (another 30 miles), where she set tables and instructed caterers how to construct a beautiful flower-filled cupcake tower. She even designed a floral hairpiece that stayed all day in the bride's boy-short hair. All in all, a great experience.

I am not very good with flowers, so I had a general idea of what I wanted, but not a lot of details. Beverly was a HUGE help. She helped me figure out what would work best with my rather vague ideas, she helped me manage the budget I needed to work within, and she was very patient with me as I sent several changes to her in the months leading up to the wedding. And the flowers on the actual day were even prettier than what I imagined after my conversations with her. I LOVED them.

WOW!! Beverly was just an absolute pleasure to work with. The flowers and arrangements we had were just more perfect than I could have asked for. Her prices were reasonable and she was available to work with when I needed her. She listened to what I wanted, not what she thought I should have. She gave her opinion in a manor that still allowed it to be my vision and my wedding.

Thank you Beverly for our gorgeous wedding day! My flowers and decorations couldn't have been more fantastic and whimsical! No one does flowers better than you!

Beverly is absolutely WONDERFUL!! I got married 4 months ago and when we first started the process of finding a florist I had 3 appointments. Beverly happened to be the first and after meeting with her I had no desire to look elsewhere. She is very good at giving ideas, helping you stay under budget, and pulling everything together beautifully. I was so impressed on the day of my wedding when I saw just how wonderful my flowers looked. They were exactly what I had imagined! Thank you Beverly!!

I met with Beverly twice. The first time I didn't have a clear picture of what I wanted and she was very patient and helpful. Then I decided to have a vintage themed wedding and brought pictures to help clarify what I wanted and she loved it and ran with it. I had pretty much changed my entire original estimate but she was very adaptable and so much fun to work with. The flowers were stunning and even better than the pictures I used as examples. I would highly recommend Beverly.

Beverly did the flowers for my daughter's wedding and what a display it was!!!!!!!!! They were more beautiful than I could have imagined. So much creativity was used when designing them that I still have people saying to me how beautiful the flowers were. We have even had calls from people who did not attend the wedding to find out who did the flowers because they had "heard" so much about them. Beverly was extremely professional when we met giving us many ideas (ones we used) and was so gracious when we called with questions. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BEVERLY'S OF MIDWAY - You will not regret it.

Beverly's of Midway was certainly one of the best choices we made for our wedding day. She worked close with my family and myself to choose the best arrangements for our wedding. I went to her with just a few ideas, and she certainly surprised me with her creativity. If there was an idea that may not be the best, she would explain why and give us another option. She definitely made our wedding planning a whole lot easier. Beverly worked with us on so many things - budget, creativity, and making sure the wedding and reception was just perfect for us.

Beverly's of Midway did an AMAZING job for my wedding (8.08.09). Beverly and her staff were very professional and personable. The flowers were one of the best items of the day (other than marrying my hubby!). Beverly is committed to providing every bride with 'her dream'. I met with Beverly on numerous occassions in preparation for the big day; I was planning the event from out of town. Everytime, she and her staff were gracious and full of excitement and wonderful ideas for our special day. They even took time to meet with the groom! On the wedding day, I had opportunity to run into Beverly and her staff as they were finishing delivery and set up at the church (on time!). The flowers were beautiful and simply exceeded my hopes and expectations. My wedding planner (from Raleigh) even commented on how beautiful the flowers were and that in all her years in the business had never seen such amazing work. Beverly was recommended to me by one of my mother's co-workers (also very pleased by her work). I too highly recommend Beverly's of Midway to any bride. Your wedding day is a very special day and you want someone with experience who will work with you to fullfill your dream. If I am in need for flowers again while in or near Winston Salem, I will be giving Beverly a call! Thank you Beverly and staff for being a part of our special day and making it so beautiful.

Beverly's of Midway made our wedding more than PERFECT!! From the first meeting I was so comfortable with Beverly and her staff. I had an outside wedding which required a lot of planning and knowledge. I can not put into words how beautiful all the flowers turned out for the ceremony and reception tables. I feel like she took the place of a wedding coordinator and went out of her way to make sure everything was just like I wanted it. I would recommend her to anyone and could not have been more pleased with the services I recevied on 6/6/09!!!! Thanks Beverly's of Midway for such a great wedding experience!!!!

I used Beverly's of Midway for my wedding (5.16.09) and could not be happier with the service and quality of flowers we received! She helped my husband and I plan out the flow of the event, which helped us figure out how many flowers we needed, she listened to our ideas and made suggestions to help bring our vision to life...she even recommended bringing in one of my bridesmaid dresses to help make sure the flowers would compliment them! Our flowers arrived on time (to multiple locations!) on the wedding day and she even let my mom take all of the arrangements home after the reception to enjoy the flowers until they died and then let her return the vases/cubes later the next week. I have also used Beverly for every flower arrangement I've needed over the last 5 years and have never been disappointed. She has the freshest, most beautiful flowers, and is very reasonably priced. I am sorry to hear the "bitter bride" was stressed on her wedding day, but the flowers arrived in plenty of time. It's unfortunate that she chose this forum to vent, but I can assure any other brides-to-be that they have nothing to worry about with Beverly's of Midway - they are professional, high quality, and customer service focused.

Excellent experiences with Beverly's. My family too has used Beverly's for many years now and love their work! My flowers were better than I imagined and well worth the money. Prices were very reasonable and work was amazing. They were very flexible and worked within my budget. Beverly and all the staff were very professional and I could tell they wanted to get me the flowers for my DREAM wedding. Very nice to work with and highly reccomended!

First of all, to the person that wrote the terrible review of Beverly's I am sorry that you were stressed out about Beverly's staff running a few minutes late. However, that is no excuse for such a terrible review! Even you said the flowers were beautiful and they showed up which is the most important thing! When I saw this review I knew I had to write a review and let everyone know about my WONDERFUL experience with Beverly's of Midway. I have always been a HUGE fan of Beverly's. I went to her for the many events we have had in our family (other weddings, proms, illnesses, baby showers, etc.) so when it came time to book a vendor for our wedding I wouldn't have looked ANYWHERE else! Beverly did my sister-in-laws wedding and she did a beautiful job, I had several people recommend her to me outside of my family. I never went to see anyone else about flowers. When I went for the consultation Beverly herself sat down with me and helped me through each step of my wedding (not just my flowers!) and provided me with many ideas and tips to make my wedding go smoothly. I told her what I wanted and I never mentioned my budget, when I got the estimate it was UNDER my budget!!! =) Not many vendors do that! The day of my wedding I never had to worry about the flowers! They arrived and were beautiful!! Her staff, set up the flowers (and I had a lot of flowers!) and were in and out and I never even realized that they were there! My pictures turned out wonderful with the flowers and the flowers were more than I could have imagined. Everyone commented on how beautiful the flowers were! Beverly is a wonderful artist! She uses her gift to make the most beautiful flower arrangements I have ever seen and her warm "motherly" feel made me feel very taken care of! Her staff is the best I have met, any time I called with questions they always answered them, were so friendly and got back to me in a timely manner, she is very lucky to have such wonderful staff! I will continue to use Beverly's again and again. I would have rather given up another vendor than to not have used Beverly's. Give Beverly's a chance when planning your wedding, don't let one person who was clearly having a bad day advise you otherwise, you won't be sorry you put Beverly's of Midway in charge of your wedding flowers! They are the best!

Wow... I just saw this post from another bride and can't believe what I am hearing. My family has been a LIFE long customer of Beverly's of Midway and use them anytime we have a need from funnerals, birthday, weddings, or just because, THEY have always went above and beyond the call of duty! When you go into the shop they make you feel like family as if you were walking into your own home. This past March I got married and would have had none other than Beverly to help create the perfect day for myself and my husband. I am very particular in the planning process and also the way things look down to every small detail that no one would ever notice as I am an event planner myself. From our inital meeting Beverly came up with amazing ideas to help make our ceremony cozy and inviting as it was in a VERY large sanctuary and the colors used went perfect with my theme and colors as my colors for the wedding wasn't a color of ANY flower. Beverly and I did follow ups up until the wedding day and She even did somethings not asked to make my day even more special. I could have not asked for a prettier set-up and on top of everything the cost we paid was minimal for everything that was there! Again with me being in the event planning business I know nothing can always go 100% but my wedding day was perfect (other than rain) and all vendors were great and finished with their duties in plenty of time before the wedding. I will say at my venue that I currently work at we use Beverly's on a regular basis and we have been nothing but COMPLETELY happy everytime and will continue to use Beverly's!!!! Beverly's of Midway did an absolutely wonderful job with our wedding flowers. At our initial meeting, she was so helpful with suggestions and ideas that we could use without being pushy or overwhelming. I could tell she really had a passion for what she did because she welcomed me as if we were old friends and we talked about what I wanted, not what she was trying to "sell" (like some other flower vendors). She not only had personal knowledge of flowers and arrangements but had a huge selection of references including pictures, colors and everything you could imagine. Like every other bride out there, I had a budget and Beverly helped me get exactly what I wanted without compromising quality within my budget. The flowers for my bridal portrait and the wedding were absolutely beautiful and everything I had dreamed they would be. Beverly and her staff are always warm and welcoming; something that is growing less common in businesses. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Beverly's of Midway so much that I recommend her as much as I can and anytime I need flowers for any occasion, she's the one I think of.

I completely disagree with the first review! Beverly?s of Midway did a fabulous job with our wedding on 1-21-06. They were so good that I recommend them to everyone I know getting married. From the moment I met Beverly I loved her! She helped me come up with some of the best and unique ideas and I get compliments to this day! Our flowers were beautiful and very reasonable. They were on time to set up and even if they would have been a few minutes late I would not have stressed out about it. There is nothing that could have ruined my wedding day but having Beverly and her Team just made our wedding day even better. Since then we continue to order flowers for occasions through her and love the personable relationship Beverly and her staff have with us! They are great to work and should not be judged by one bad review!

I really enjoyed working with Beverly and loved the final product. She was awesome to work with and my flowers turned out absolutely gorgeous. She did exactly what I wanted and made everything even better than expected. I wish my bouquets would last forever but at least I have plenty of pictures. Beverly and most of her staff were setting up for a wedding when I picked up my flowers but the employee who was working in the shop was wonderful and helped me pack my flowers so they wouldn't tip over while I drove to my venue. I would definitely recommend Beverly's of Midway to any bride.

I used Beverly's for my wedding 04/04/2009. Beverly personal delivered my flowers and helped make my wedding day one of the most wonderful days of my life. Beverly and her staff we amazing and I highly recommend them, we have used her several more times for other floral needs like the funeral of my grandfather.

I was incredibly disappointed with this vendor! Ladies... BEWARE. They were so kind and wonderful... until the WEDDING DAY (which is the only day that counts)! We signed a contract that stated the flowers would arrive between 130 and 2; I was to be married at 4 oustide the reception hall. At 230 o'clock there were no flowers and I was becoming more and more sure I was walking down the aisle without a bouqet. While my mother was running around trying to fix the problem I was taking pictures in my bridal suite (without her). So, I have NO pictures of my mother helping me get ready. Numerous calls to the florist went unanswered and to make matters worse, when the delivery people finally arrived they tried to tell my father they were there at 205 (which is a LIE). The photographer showed up at 230 and there were still no flowers. They may have showed up around 245 but set up did not begin until 3 o'clock. So, they were between 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes late, either way you look at it they were LATE. We have not had a returned follow up call and they never apologized. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT YOUR DAY TO GO SMOOTHLY! The flowers were beautiful but NOT worth the worry and absent photos. UPDATE: After this review was posted we were FINALLY contacted by the vendor (because she was unhappy with the review) who, instead of trying to make ammends, made excuses for her staff and stated that we were completely inappropriate. There was an apology followed by a "but", and to me that is no apology at all. "I am sorry, but... excuse, excuse, excuse." To set the record straight she was absent from the wedding and was going by word of the mouth of her workers, she did not care what we had said. In my line of work, customer complaints are taken very seriously and the customer is never told they are wrong, also my boss never makes excuses for us.
