Ashley Cakes

For all you brides out there looking for a light and very moist wedding cake, I would recommend Ashley Cakes above and beyond any other bakery in the Raleigh, NC area. My husband and I just got married on April 24, 2010 and Ashley made our wedding cake. It was amazing and all of my guests loved it. I had a particular design in mind for our wedding cake and Ashley made my dream cake a reality. She is extremely easy to work with and very responsive to anything you may need from her!!! You will not go wrong with Ashley Cakes!!!!!

Ashley did an amazing job on our wedding cake! Right from the start I knew we were in good hands. We met Ashley for a tasting pretty early in our engagement. She by far had the best tasting cake at a great value. I wanted a very simple design for our cake and provided Ashley with a picture. The day of my wedding I was blown away because it was perfect and put the picture to shame! Ashley thank you so much. We received so many compliments on the look and taste of the cake.

Ashley and Josh provided us with a cake that was beautiful, delicious and affordable. They listened to our ideas and gave us a cake that was even better than we had imagined, and that fit perfectly with our wedding theme. They were very professional and organized at the complementary tasting; and their samples very accurately represented the final cake. We would have expected to pay much more than we did for the quality of service and product. We would highly recommend them for any occasion.

5.0, Ashley was very good at responding to my emails, since I didn't have much time to talk on the phone which was great. Her cake that she did for me was beautiful. I enjoyed it. Ashley was wonderful to work with. The cake was both beautiful and delicious. We received many compliments from our guests about how great the cake was. There was not any left at the end of our reception. We would highly recommend her for any wedding or special event.

Ashley Cakes is AWESOME!! Her cakes are VERY affordable compared to other wedding cake bakeries and the taste is not compromised at all. Our wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous!!! Ashley and her husband were so great to work with!!! I instantly felt at ease with Ashely during our consultation because she knew so much about cakes and really helped us design our cake the way we wanted it. A lot of other cake vendors knew what they were doing but would not give us a drawing to look at so we could visualize what our cake would look like. Ashley was more than willing to draw it out and even showed it to us in color!! It was so hard to pick our flavors for the cake and fillings because everything she had was delicious. When we saw our cake the day of the wedding, we were very pleased with Ashely's work. We were even more pleased when we tasted it!! I have been to a lot of weddings where the cake looked good but tasted very dry and stale. Our cake tasted like it had been made that morning!! It was very moist and very delicious. We receivied numerous compliments about the look and taste of our cake. THANKS ASHLEY!!

When I first met with Ashley I gave her a picture of a cake I had seen and loved and mentioned just a few changes I wanted to it for my cake - and she completely recreated it. It looked exactly like what I had imagined it looking like.And the cake inside was amazing. People were arguing over the last pieces at our wedding, it was that tasty! I talked to several different bakers but Ashley's cake consistently was the best tasting! Ashley was also great to work with, very friendly and responsive to any questions I might have. I highly recommend working with her!

Ashley & Josh are awesome! There are so many things to worry about on your wedding day and typically the cake isn't one! You have to put your trust in the baker and hope it turns out ok. With Ashely Cakes you don't have to worry about a thing! Ashely coordinated with my florist herself (cutting out the middle man, me) to find out what flowers she could use on the cake to tie in all of the different colors from our wedding. We had a multi flavored cake that sat on a beautiful stand that she was able to provide. Ashley Cakes made everything so easy and convenient! We recommend them to everyone we know!!!!

Ashley Cakes provided the most beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding day. From the cake tasting to the big day, working with Ashley was great. She took her time in helping us choose the cake and filling flavors (we had two each!) and in designing the outside design, which was an intricate eyelet lace look. If I had to do it all again I would 100% choose Ashley Cakes and would recommend them to everyone!

I first learned about Ashley Cakes when my mother and I attended the Forever Bridal Show. After sampling all of the cakes at the Bridal Show, we decided that Ashley Cakes had the best cakes at the bridal Show. Ashley was a joy to work with! During our first meeting, Ashley took the time to help my fiance and I figure out what we wanted (when we really had no idea), shared a variety of cakes and fillings to sample (yum!), and produced a beautiful sketch by the end of the hour. Over the months before the wedding, Ashley worked with me via email to ensure the design, monogram, and coloring where what we wanted. Ashley always responded to my emails within 24 hours.In the end, we had the most beautiful, and delicious, wedding cake. Our cake, which was a three tier, two layer yellow cake, with strawberry-cream cheese filling and vanilla buttercream frosting, large enough to feed 120 people, was completely gone by the end of our reception--even though we had about 100 guests!We look forward to using Ashley Cakes again in the future!

The cake was beautiful, tasted delicious and was priced right. Ashley is a sweetheart to work with. I much preferred hiring her small company to purchasing a mass produced cake.

Ashely made it easy to meet with them on short time constraints and were very flexible when it came to scheduling. Ashely is a joy to work with! Courteous, upbeat, energetic and you can tell that she loves what she does (and does it well!). I could not have asked for more in a wedding cake vendor. The cake she created was FABULOUS! We were able to sit down almost 12 months before my wedding and come up with some sketches and after many months she brought our thoughts to life in a beautiful and delicious cake. The cake was light, moist and exactly what I wanted. Everyone raved about it after the reception was done. Just wait until you taste all her awesome options!! She is truly puts a "just like mom used to make" love and effort into her work and it is tasted in every bite. I looked forward to her cake for over a year (after I tasted it at a wedding show and through her tasting) and it was above and beyond what I had expected!
