Shawn Booth with Active Entertainment was our wedding DJ. He surprised us with dance floor lighting and kept the crowd dancing all night long! He was also very organized and kept the flow of the reception the exact way we asked him to, we highly recommend him for your wedding! Thanks Shawn!

I can't recommend Jason Tatum of Active DJ Entertainment more highly. Jay was one of the first vendors that I had booked and he was so helpful and involved in my day. I was planning the wedding from New York and Jay was so wonderful offering his opinions for restaurants, venues,vendors, etc. He really is the whole package. We went over my schedule for the day several times, Jay was a wonderful MC for the event. We stayed on schedule yet he gave me the flexibility to lengthen cocktail hour. Never once did it feel like a "cheesy dj" experience when we were doing dances and wedding formalities- Jay is far from that. We had a large array of music between cocktail hour and late night dancing and it was all perfect. Jay was so generous with his time and knowledge and I really hope to remain friends with him throughout the years.

Charles was amazing, I am a wedding and events planner for North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh, NC. So I had HIGH expectations and Charles knocked them out of the park. He was just fabulous!! Love him!

Shawn, Jay and Beverly are a great team!! They are all great to work with. They are energetic and positive and were a fantastic choice for DJ services. We also had a photo booth rented through Active which was super fun. Unfortunately it rained on my wedding day but Shawn and Beverly were so flexible, calm and helpful in moving everything to plan B in no time and all with a smile!! They didn't skip a beat and everyone has not stopped talking about how awesome the DJ was. I can not thank them enough for making our day what it was.

Fabulous! We did not want an MC! This DJ got everybody dancing for hours. Equipment, quality of sound were excellent. We also rented the photo booth which was hilarious! Great youthful company that are up on everything new.

Jason made our wedding a huge success. He did an amazing job. I heard so many compliments about the music. Several people asked me to get them a playlist. There were a lot of people leaving early for it being easter weekend. He did great by putting on the line dance songs and separating them to keep people on the dance floor. We were really pleased with everything. He was professional and great to work with.

Active Entertainment was awesome! We also used the photo booth and this was a big hit at the wedding! They did a great job with playing both oldies and new songs. Our wedding crowd seemed to have a great time! Would definitely recommend Active Entertainment!

I would recommend Active Entertainment to anyone planning an event or wedding and in need of a DJ. The wedding was a great sucess and everyone was dancing and having a great time. The Dj showed up on time and followed through with everything promised. Im glad I chose Active Entertainment and a special thank you to Jason Tatum for making the night so much fun.

He was flexible and understanding about meeting only the day before the wedding and still managed to understand our tastes and get everything just right! He was fantastic at reading the crowd and knowing when to speed up or slow down the music.

If you want a DJ in Wilmington, Active Entertainment is the only way to go. They were professional and easy to work with. I had song changes just hours before the reception, and they were fine with it. I loved working with these guys!

Jay Tatum of Active Entertainment DJd our wedding and it was one of the best choices we made! He was able to read the crowd and knew just what to play at the right time. Jay also MCd everything to perfection and I didn't have to worry about a thing. We also had the Active Booth and everyone raved about how much fun it was all night. They must have had at least 100 props to choose from!

Brian Hood worked our wedding on Bald Head Island. We were pretty specific with our preferences and he was very accommodating. Brian also knew exactly what to do regarding logistics of getting on/off the island with equipment, which made things very easy on our part. Overall, we couldn't be more pleased with his and Active DJ Entertainment's service.

Jason was a geat DJ to to wok with. Not only was he uick at esponding to my emails o phone calls, but he also played exactl what I asked of him and even euests that wee made by my guests. Jason Tatum at Active DJ Entertainment provided the music for our wedding reception. He kept the evening running smoothly. I even had last minute changes that he incorporated into our introductions. I've heard of so many horror stories about wedding DJs, but Jason was a complete professional and everybody danced and had a good time!
