1st Carolina DJ's did an AMAZING job at our wedding. Kyle and his assistant kept in tune with our guests desire to have a good time. Our venue was not the easiest setup to work with, but he did an excellent job working everything out. We would hire Kyle again to do the same job...SUPER value for the money!!!

I wish there were more stars to give to this company, I really do.From the very beginning 1st Carolina DJ's was very responsive (email responses within minutes! Very valuable for a bride planning her own wedding.) Based on the "you pay for what you get" attitude of most wedding related costs, I was shocked at the deal I was offered, and the subsequent service. I feel like they blew the competition out of the water!The best part of working with 1st Carolina DJ's would have to be their creative energy - I had a very non-traditional wedding in mind, and these guys were more than willing to get elbows deep in ideas with us - and the result was a wedding and reception to remember!The biggest compliment I received was the statement that our wedding and reception felt like "a real party with great energy." I attribute that energy to 1st Carolina DJ's, hands down.

1st Carolina DJs were absolutely wonderful for our wedding! They helped the reception go smoothly. They went above and beyond what we paid for. Very organized, open to suggestion and flexible. We were very impressed with the entertainment as were our guests.

Couldn't have asked for a better DJ service. 1st Carolina DJ was not only reliable but knows how to set the mood for a great party. I am so glad I choice this Dj service, they exceeded all of my expectations. Kyle was extremely flexiable, friendly, and an all around great DJ!!! 1st Carolina DJ's did an exceptional job at my wedding. They provided me with a projector for a photo slide show that I created and projected it on the wall in hall. My ceremony was outdoors and the reception was indoors; 1st Carolina DJ's provided a mic for the Rabbi and music to walk down with. Within minutes after the ceremony they were back in the hall almost like magic.Their website is well thought out in that it provides a section for selecting music and names for announcements. I highly recommend 1st Carolina DJ's for any event.

I had an outdoor wedding that wasn't easily accessible. After I had a DJ quit on me I contacted 1st Carolina DJ's. They went above and beyond to make sure I rested easy knowing they would absolutely be there to perform my ceremony and reception music. They did an exceptional job and I never had to worry about their professionalism. They were very easy to work with and helped to make my wedding day so much better. If I ever needed a DJ, I would absolutely hire 1st Carolina DJ's.

1st Carolina DJ was an excellent part of my big day! The DJ and his roadie were very professional. There was little need for me to go up to their booth because of the web planning that the company has available. I was able to plan the entire reception online so that they did not need to ask me questions about our first dance, introductions, last dance, or any of the specials in between (garter toss and bouquet toss) I highly recommend this company. They were very organized the day of the event and arrived in plenty of time to set up and be ready way before my guest began to arrive.

1st Carolina DJ Service was very flexible with working within our budget. Bobby and Dwight did a wonderfull job at the ceremony!!! The DJ service for the reception was exceptional. They were willing to work with out ever changing event schedule and was willing to accommodate whatever changes that was throwed at them in a very friendly and professional manner. It was very challenging with a wedding of both Vietnamese and American cultures but Bobby managed to pull it off. We highly recommend Bobby and Dwight for any upcoming event you may have.

I loved the website and the ability to choose music. It was a little difficult to navigate the site at first, but overall easy to use. We communicated by email, which was very convenient for me. On the day of the event, they were set up and ready to go, they followed my notes/instructions, played the right music at the right times, etc. (I had asked for minimal announcements from the DJ, and they delivered an unobtrusive presence and let the music keep things moving.) I could not have been happier with how convenient, professional and reasonably priced this service was. I recommend them for any event.

Kyle was great to work with. He did a lot of extra work for us, ie: specialty lighting, gobo, and hanging paper lanterns. His prices were very reasonable, and my dance floor was packed the whole night.

The only minor issue we had was not receiving a call to finalize details one night. This was likely a bigger deal for us than others since we are both working full time and in school so our time together is rare. Still, they responded immediately to that one time thing and we were able to talk a couple days later. Overall, I would highly recommend this vendor to others. Very professional, easy to deal with, played almost all of our many many requests, and great value for the cost. Excellent.
